The Grove on Springdale Pond

The grove on Springdale pond is truly one-of-a-kind. So many things set it apart. Its special qualities were first recognized in the fall of 1862. In that year, Albert Petty became the first to settle Springdale. He selected this location because on the northeast side of the present-day pond are springs that he believed would make an excellent site for a grist mill. Inspired by the flowing waters of the springs, his wife Lucinda is credited with naming the settlement “Springdale.” Sometime thereafter, the pond was built to contain the spring water and make it available for use

Today, the pond is valued not only for the water resources it provides but also for the habitat is helps support including a broad variety of flora, fauna, and wildlife. This location features the Springdale Pond, the Virgin River, beautiful groves of trees, pathways, and lawns. Within this breathtaking environment, are two areas that are available for events. If you are looking at a spectacular outdoor venue that can accommodate a wide range of group sizes, then look no further. 

The Grove on Springdale Pond covers several acres with two primary event spaces. The Grove is the larger event space on the West side of the property adjacent to Canyon Springs Road. This area includes pathways and a concrete patio when a solid surface is required. The Spring at The Grove on Springdale Pond is located on the East side of The Grove. The Spring consists of a grassy area that is flanked by the Virgin River on one side and the Springdale Pond on the other. The Grove on Springdale Pond can be rented in its entirety or one can rent just The Grove or just The Spring.

Gathering by Black Walnut - Ballroom

The gathering is a private event space located adjacent to Dulivia. It is unique among large Springdale event spaces because it is located on the ground level with unparalleled views up zion canyon. The room features large windows, vaulted 25-foot ceilings, a large stone hearth fireplace and a moving wall that allows the space to extend into a private outdoor courtyard. This indoor/outdoor capability affords guests the best of both worlds. Gathering is an incredible location for wedding events as well as important business conferences and exhibitions.

Gathering is available for groups of up to 250 people. The indoor space can accommodate 150 people depending on the table arrangement. The outdoor courtyard is approximately 1200 sq. ft. please note that the moving wall will not be opened if the outside air temperature is greater than 80 degrees or less than 65 degrees. 

Gathering is available only on a rental basis. This venue may be rented for either half-day or full-day use. no outside catering vendors are permitted.

The Meadow

Adjacent to the grove on Springdale Pond, the meadow abuts the virgin river and is a smaller more affordable venue for small to medium size groups. This is a great option for groups that don’t need as much space, but still, want to be in the heart of Zion.

Switchback Grille Prime Steak & Seafood

Groups are invited to reserve the steakhouse for private functions. This includes the bar, main dining room, and patio. For sit down functions the main dining room generally seats 110 people, the wine cellar seats 20 people and the patio seats 40 people; however, we can accommodate up to 180 people combined depending on the seating arrangement and weather. For cocktail receptions, all spaces will accommodate 250 people. Renting the entire restaurant requires meeting minimum food and beverage requirements.

Dulivia Ristorante Italiano

Groups are invited to reserve Dulivia for private functions. This includes the bar, main dining room, private room 1, private room 2 and outdoor patio. For sit down functions the main dining room generally seats 50 people, private room 1 seat 42 people, private room 2 seats 12 people and the patio seats 80 people; however, we can accommodate up to 200 people combined depending on the seating arrangement and weather. For cocktail receptions, all spaces will accommodate 275 people. Renting the entire restaurant requires meeting minimum food and beverage requirements.

Jack’s Sports Grill

Groups are invited to reserve jack’s sports grill for private functions. This includes the bar, main dining room, and outdoor patio. For sit down functions the main dining room generally seats 52 people and the patio seats 48 people; however, we can accommodate up to 110 people combined depending on the seating arrangement and weather. For cocktail receptions, all spaces will accommodate 150 people. Renting the entire restaurant requires meeting minimum food and beverage requirements.
